Once again, Lizardek has worked her magic and created a very personal and GORGEOUS, if I do say so myself, banner for me! Isn't it fantastic? For any of you in doubt, that would be the Green Bean Kid, pausing at the doors of the sanctuary right before she walked down the aisle at our wedding. Thank you a million times over, Liz!
Last night we spent some time with the Green Bean Kid - she was very busy, eating leftover Halloween candy and half a Martha Washington, topped with a little string cheese. Also, drinking water out of a Oktoberfest plastic beerstein. She's talking more than EVER but likes to whisper her words, except for when her Uncle Beaux decided to chase her - 'No, Beaux!' she giggled. Did I mention that he's growing his beard back not for his wife, who thinks he is undeniably delicous with a beard, but for her? Because she didn't know him without his beard and has yelled 'Beaux!' across a store at a bearded, crazy-haired guy. Her mom told us about how she was the dancing queen at this bat mitzah and so we put on some music to try to get her to dance for us. No luck. Apparently the Beatles aren't funky enough for her groove.
Anyway, here's hoping every single one of you has a very happy New Year's Eve. It's been quite a year, hasn't it? Thank you for making this year so beautiful and special for me - for all the support and concern during the Hurricane, the joy and love(and virtual wedding shower) celebrating my wedding, all your emails and comments and amazing writing that each of you do on your own blogs. I am so blessed by you, at the way you share your world with me, and contribute so generously to my life.
What do you say in school? See you next year! And don't forget to break out the sparklers!
