This weekend has been particularly good. We have no big plans, so yesterday we decided to go try out a burger place (I know!) and enjoy all the shops around it. This meant I could go to my own Mecca: the Anthropologie store. Beaux knows how much I love it and is a good sport about spending time across the road at the B&N by the train table with Thomas.
I know it's completely unoriginal to feel inspired by the magic of Anthropologie, but that's just it: how can you step into a store and not want to live there? I decided to snap a few photos of my most favorite things. Sort of an inspiration board, you could say.
I'm not really a chicken decor kinda girl, but these colors make it work. Ha! I just got the circles with the yellow centers...
I liked the name more than the bedding...even though I am dreaming about having a duvet cover or bedspread of theirs one day...
The whole 'size extra-small' makes me want to gag, but I love the mermaid. I thought of Squam and how I'm signed up for a class with the mermaid herself...and lately I've seen all those gorgeous beaded headbands when I go shopping...and I thought that my inner mermaid definitely would wear beaded headbands and not fret that she looked ridiculous.
After my dreamy visit - I finally got one of these letters - it was time to let Thomas play in the fountains. I'd packed his swimming trunks and Crocs. People got the biggest kick out of watching him play in the water.
And I wanted to say thank you for all of you who left supportive comments on my last post...I really keep meaning to email you back. In the meantime, know that I appreciated each and every word.
